9am – 3 pm – Becoming a Steward of Your Local Environment – an Introduction. (Princeton) Friends of Herrontown Woods and the Princeton Public Library are hosting a full day of activities for families, children, and adults. Learn more. 600 Snowden Lane, Princeton
10am – Moody Park Clean Up (Ewing) Join the Ewing Green Team and the Americorps Watershed Ambassador for their annual Community Park Spring Clean Up. Enjoy a free treat from Ewing’s Rita’s Italian Ice afterwards. Pre-registration is required. (Learn more) Buttonwood Drive and Ewingville Road.
3pm – Climate Change and Health (Virtual) C-Change Conversations worked with scientists and energy and policy experts to develop the C-Change Health Primer. It is widely hailed as an intelligent, dispassionate introduction to and illumination of climate change. This PowerPoint presentation uses powerful visuals and information from trusted sources to provide a non-partisan, accessible overview of the science behind climate change, a clear-eyed assessment of the potential risks ahead, and the context for why we should care about the issue.
