On September 24, a diverse panel of solar and energy efficiency experts will speak at Sustainable Princeton’s Great Ideas Breakfast.

Speakers for this free event include Kelcy Pegler, Jr., President of NRG Home Solar, Gary Finger, Ombudsman at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and local business and municipal representatives who will provide an overview of the current solar and energy efficiency opportunities available locally and statewide for residents and businesses.

Sustainable Princeton is pleased to bring together these experts who will shed light on trends in the solar industry and provide practical ways to become more energy efficient at home and at work,” says Diane Landis, Executive Director of Sustainable Princeton.

The breakfast will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Community Room of the Princeton Public Library.  The event is part of Sustainable Princeton’s EnergySmart Buildings campaign, which is supported by a grant from Sustainable Jersey and the Gardinier Environmental Fund.  Sponsorship for Sustainable Princeton’s entire fall Great Ideas Breakfast series has been provided by NRG Energy, Inc.  The event is held in partnership with the Princeton Public Library. A complimentary light breakfast will be provided by Princeton’s Small World Coffee.  This is a zero waste event.

Sustainable Princeton is an independent nonprofit whose goal is to reduce Princeton’s energy use from fossil fuels and waste by partnering with Princeton residents, businesses, schools, local government and other community groups to achieve measurable results.
